Sunday cooking…..

I thought tonight I would put up some recipes I have been working on the last week or so… These are healthy dishes, with a lot of flavor, using real ingredients that your body knows what to do with. I am not into “fake” food. What I have learned is if it is “low fat”, “fat-free” or “reduced fat” they are putting is so much other junk to make up for the stuff they take out it’s not worth it. As Michael Pollen says ….”If your great-grandmother wouldn’t recognize it as food, then neither should you.”

    Thanks for the recipes, I plan to try some! I officially am joining you on your weight loss journey. I would like to lose 70lbs by next August! Besides daily exercise (which I enjoy as long as I keep motivated), I am going to do my best to eat clean 90% of the week! Whenever I eat really healthy, I tend to eat the same boring foods…but this time around, I plan to make some new recipes! My first was a bean and ham soup I made last week- pretty good!
