Day 5 (of 10)
I woke up this morning with that feeling of questioning and doubt, confusion set in and I found myself asking very hard questions…how in the world could my alarm be going off already! Out of bed and back in the morning routine seems to come so fast. I had oatmeal with cranberries, apples and coffee for breakfast. Work was just two steps below chaos and I kept looking at the clock counting down the hours till I got to go to the gym. Yes, you read that right, I was looking forward to being at the gym this evening. It has been 4 days since I have been able to go and I have to say when I am not there I miss it, I am not aware of the role it plays in my life. The food, the moving of my body, the past, the future are all equal partners in this mystery I work everyday to keep figuring out.
Breakfast: Oatmeal with apples and cranberries, coffee and water.
Lunch: One slice of Ezekiel bread, mustard and a tiny teaspoon of mayo, sliced pork tenderloin, tomato and 1/2 avocado
Snack: (about 90 min before I worked out) 1/2 cup greek yogurt, blueberries and 3 tbs of flax granola.
Dinner: one cup angel hair pasta, tomatoes, spinach green onions and mushrooms. Cottage cheese 1/2 cup and fresh mango
Snack: cup of skim milk and a gluten free scone (180 cal)
Tonight I met Jessica at the gym, and it was a great workout, that left me feeling tired in the best possible way. We have both been crazy busy so catching up just made me feel good and the running parts were soooo good! It felt great to run, to sweat and I am pretty sure in those 2 miles stress was flying off me! I did 2 miles in just under 40 minuets, catching up and chatting along with music breaks made the time fly. Thanks Jess. 😉
Tomorrow is a big long work day, I will start at 11:00am and finish up around 10:00pm tomorrow night. I have a plan, you can bet on that! More soon-
